Joining God in the renewal of all things through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Cross Creek Church started when a group of friends gathered in 1996 around a shared vision for reaching the growing community of northwest Saint Johns County with the good news of Jesus Christ. Throughout our life as a church, we have been driven by a desire to see people's lives forever changed by Jesus through an encounter with his radical grace in the gospel.

We are a congregation of the Presbyterian Church of America, a group of churches that exists to glorify God by extending the kingdom of Jesus Christ over all individual lives through all areas of society and in all nations and cultures.

The PCA is a family of churches that are Reformed in doctrine and Presbyterian in government. “Reformed” means that we are rooted in the Protestant Reformation of the 16th century, a time when many believers protested against corrupt teaching and practices in the church and returned to the biblical gospel. We affirm the theology that grew out of the Reformation as outlined in the Westminster Confession of Faith. “Presbyterian” means that our churches are governed by representative assemblies of elders.

Membership and Baptism

If you are interested in membership at Cross Creek, please check our Events page for an upcoming DISCOVER CROSS CREEK class! Afterwards you can complete our Membership Application online here.

We believe that baptism is a sign of God's covenant and is properly administered to children of believers in their infancy as well as to those who come as adults to trust in Christ.

If you are a member of the church, your children ages 0-5 are eligible to be baptized during an Sunday worship service. Please contact us for more information. For more information on why we baptize children, click here.

If your child is age 6-12 and wishes to be baptized, he or she must go through the Communicants Class that we offer each year. This is for children who are believers and desire to become communing members of the church (meaning they will also begin to participate in the Lord's Supper).

If you are a teenager or adult and wish to be baptized, you must go through the membership process which starts by attending a Discover Cross Creek class (check the Events page for the next class). If you haven't yet been baptized when you come for membership, you will be baptized at that time.
