Worship at Cross Creek

Sundays at Cross Creek are warm, inviting, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest!

At Cross Creek, we use a blended approach in our worship. In some ways, our service shares much in common with many modern churches: a worship band, lights, lyrics projected on a screen. At the same time, we love to sing historic hymns and other theologically rich music. Our order of service follows a basic liturgical shape of “gospel reenactment” (creation > fall > redemption > restoration), with the use of liturgical forms like the call to worship, confession of sin, assurance of pardon, creeds, and more.

Cross Creek is located in St Johns at 401 Greenbriar Road.

Sunday School meets Sundays at 9 am.

Worship Service Sunday at 10:15 am

We know that going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Cross Creek a great one! A typical worship service lasts about an hour. It includes singing, prayer, announcements, a sermon, and communion (on the first and third Sundays of each month). You are free to participate or just observe!

Kids on Sundays

We believe that kids should have a wonderful time at church every single week - and at Cross Creek, we make this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety! Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our Cross Creek Kids program.

Children’s ministry is offered at every Cross Creek service for kids ages infant through 5th Grade. Kids in Pre-K through 5th grade will join you in the main auditorium at the start of the worship service for a few songs, and then be dismissed to their classes during the announcements (before the preaching).

We also have a Parents' Viewing Room available in the rear of the auditorium if you need to step out with your child for any reason. However, it’s okay if your kids make noise in the main auditorium! We love kids.
